% —: «» ■ NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph — Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following report: — The barometer lias' fallen everywith moderate to strong northerly winds j warm, cloudy and unsettled weather has prevailed, with rain in the northren districts, and in Westland. (Present indications are for heavy rain in many parts of the country, and unsettled weather generally, with thunderstorms in parts. Northerly winds will probably veer to high westerlies, northward or Kawliia and East Oape, moderate o strong, easterlies backing to south-easterlies and increasing elsewhere. The barometer has a falling tendency, but will, probably rise everywhere after from ten to sixteen hour . - j
