MR COYNE S STATEMENT POSTPONED
AN ABORTIVE CONFERENCE

BRISBANE, March 5. •Mr Coyne, addressing the strikers, said that the important statement -which he had expected to make had lieen posponed till to-morrow. A conference which was held between the employers and the waterside workers at Maryborough has proved abortive.
