RULES AND CONDITIONS. 1. The athletic events will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Athletic Association. 2. Nominations close with the ©ecfetaries oni Monday, March 18th, at 3.' Competitors in the athletio events must send in a list of performances for the past two years. It nd wins for two years, marks or starts from previous events must be stat--4." Acceptances and entrance fees for other events close on the ground twenty minutes before each event. 5. No nominations will be accepted without the nomination fees. 6. Protests must be lodged with the secretary ten minutes after the race, accompanied by a fee of 2s 6d, wnicn will be forfeited if the objection* are considered frivolous. Horse events 7. Hie committee reserve the right •to postpone the .sports if the weather is unfavourable. 8 No first prize will be given unless there are three starters; no second prize unless five starters. _ 9 Note.— All horses nominating (in'local events) must have been .m the district at least two months prior to tie dato of the sports. They must also be the property of bona fide resi dents of the district, otherwise the* will be disqualified. ... 10.
