OBITUARY
DERBYSHIRE'S FOREMOST WICKET-KEEPER. (Received March 1, 8.5 a.m.) LONDON", February 29. The death in announced of W. Storer, tho famous Derbyshire wicketkeeper. Sfcorcr was a great player, both as a wieketkeeper and a batsman. For seven years, from 1895 to 1901, he compiled over 1000 runs in first-class cricket. His highest score was 216 (not out) against Leicestershire in 1898. In 1896 he made two separate centuries in one match—-100 and 100 (not out) against Yorkshire at Derby. He came out to Australia, with Stoddart's team.
