WANGANUJ RACES. BRONZE WINS THE CUP. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Ike Wangamii Jockey Club's .autumn meeting opened to-day, in beautiful weather. - There was a large attendance of the public, and the totalisator put through £21,779, as compared with £16,127 on the first clay of last year's meeting. Results:— "Stewards' Handicap.—-Red Lupin 1, Sea Queen 2, Coromandel 3. Scratched— Ranparaha and Kauroa. Won by three parts of a length, a neck dividing the next three. Miscal was fourth. Time, Imin. 4-3secs. Petre Hack Handicap.— Ineuru 1, Nukuatn 2, Dirge 3. 'Scratched— Ngatiraunur, Clemoes, Ohinee, Matlaw,. Aloha, and Bayardere. Won by a length, with the third horse- close up. Time, Imin. I4sees. iWestmere Hurdles.— Captain. 1, Waiputere 2, Leolanter 3. All started. Won by a length and a half, a length between second and third. Time, 3min. 59secs. Taytforth Hurdles. Cornelian 1, Seaman 2, Bismarck 3. Won by two lengths, the third horse half a length away. Time, 3min. 14 3-osees, WANGANUI GUP. ■Bronze 1 .(Dearest 2. Domino 3 Goodwin Park was scratched. Kauroa led for the greater part of the way, when he was superseded by Bronze, who won • comfortably by two and a half lengths, with Domino a length away. Time, 3inhu. 2 4-5 sees. Juvenile Handicap.— Styx- I, Outward 2, Topic 3. All .started". Won by three-quarters of a length, with the same distance between second and third. Time, Imin. 2see.<. Wiritoa Hack Handicap.- Bonnie Boy 1, Matlow 2, Leonta 3. Won by a head, with third horse-a length away. Time, Imin. Usees. 'Flying Handicap.— Gipsy Belle 1, Royal Scotch 2, Byron 3. Scratched— Labour Day, Master Sylvia, Rill and Sea Queen. Won by two lengths.
