THE PALMERSTON MEETING. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMEItSTON A N., Last Night. At the Manawatn Amateur Athletic Club's sports to-day, the halfmile ami one mile events were won by G. N. Hill, of Auckland; the long jump by Nicholson, oT Masterton, with 20ft 6in.; the 100 yds by Stagpoole, of Pahnerston; mile walk, Kerr; Cadet championship mile, Luxford; 220 yards, Stagpoole (Pahnerston), and Mart-is (Wanganui), dead beat; hurdles, Kerr Taylor, Auckland; 440 yds Bracelet, F. Young, Palmerston N.; relay race, Waitemata Swimming Club.
