PATHETIC SUICIDE
YOUNC LAD TAKES PRUSSIC ACID. (By Tehgravh—-Press Association.). AUCKLAND, Last Night. A pathetic case of suicide occurred at Parnell to-day, when a sixteen-year-old lad, named George Davies, took prussic acid, and was found dead in the shop of his employer' Deceased left a letter to his mother, saying that lie was a rank failure, and -was always doing things wrong. The letter concludes: "So good-bye, and, as I said before, don't fret; I ;>m better where- I am." The deceased was looked upon as a very promising boy.
