BOWLING

A very interesting match was played 011 the Masterton green yesterday, for the Cirady Medals, when Phjllpotts. and Fisher (skip), i-epresenting the tCarterton Club, endeavoured to wrest the valued trophies from the local Club, the defence being in the hands of Inder and O. Pragnell (skip). A very interesting game resulted, which was apparently as keenly enjoyed by the onlookers as by the- players. The game resulted in a win for Masterton by 26 to' 21. Another interesting game was the "Star" contest, which resulted in Perry (19) defeating Wilkes (18).
