THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. The splendid series of pictures that is at present being shown at the Foresters' Hall drew.aiiother large audience |last evening. The: favourite drama appeared to be "A Race for a Bride,'' in which is seen a great steeplechase race over four miles, and in which about thirty sensational spills are recorded. "The King's Peril," another stirring drama, gave some interesting glimpses of ( King George's coronation. "Pier Brother's Photograph" and "On a Tramp Steamer" were also capital studies. The scenics were particularly good, while the comedies were of a high order. The programme will be shown for the last time to-night. , The programme to-monw night will include the great Saxon legend of the eleventh century, "Lady Godiva," one of the finest subjects the popular Vitagraph Company has produced. Miss . .Florence Turner will take the role of Ladv Godiva.
