NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph — Press Association..) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following report:— The barometer rose high about Cook Strait on Sunday, and has been above normal everywhere else. The weather has been unsettled at times, especially in the northern and southernmost districts. Heavy rain fell about Auckland on Sunday night. The nights have been very cold in many parts. Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere. Easterly breezes, veering to northerly, and increasing everywhere, with warm and humid conditions generally, unsettled and showery at times, in the northern and southernmost districts esueciallv.
