Tho Carlton team included 4 juniors. With one wicket down for eight,Carterton continued :ba.tting, and were finally disposed of for 137. A. Hoar and i Tempio were the best bowlers. The latter, belonging to tho junior team, bowled remarkably well, sesnding down 12 overs, 5 maidens for 35 runs and four wickets. Edwarels obtained two wickets, but lie was expensive, and i was bowled far too long. Carlton only succeeded in knocking up 66 runs in ' their first innings, the chief scorer being A. Hoar, with 23.
