The athletic events will be ran under the rules of the New Zealand Athletic Association. 2. Nominations close with the Secretaries otu Monday, March. 18th, at 8 p.m. , 3. Competitors m the athletic, events must send in a list of perform-! ances for the past two years. If no wins for two years, marks of starts from previous events must be stat4. Acceptances and entrance fees for other events close on the ground twenty minutes before each event. 5. No nominations will be accepted without the nomination fees. 6. Protests must be lodged with the secretary ten minutes after the race, accompanied by a fee of 2s 6d, which will be forfeited if the objections are considered frivolous. Horse events 5s 7. The committee reserve the right to postpone the .sports if the weather is unfavourable. 8. No first prize will be given tinless there are three starters; no second prize unless five starters. _ ; 9.
