All On, who, according to a cable ha* been refused leave to appeal forma pauperis, was convicted of keeping a common gambling house and fined £2O. Messrs Dolan and Ferguson brought ( the case before, the Appellate Court at Wellington, when the Crief Justice referred to it as a "comedy of errors," but refused to quash the conviction. Mr Jelliooe then appealed in forma pauperis, with the result stated.
