(By Telegraph—Special to the Age.).. j PALMERSTON N., Last Night. | Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Palmcrston sale held to-day as follows: We had a good of both cattle and sheep. All classes of stock met with a keen demand, and we have to report a total clearance,, with tho exception of. two pens of cattle. CLEARING SALE. (By Telegraph—Special to the Age.) PALMERSTON N., Last Night. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., in conjunction with the New Zealand Loan-and'Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report -having held * very, successful clearing sale for Mr H. Moffatt, Kairanga. Notwithstanding tho very rough weather, there was a largo attendance of buyers, including several from a distance. The cows which were a nico conditioned lot, sold at from £5 15s to £l7, making the excellent average of £ll 15s. The ' purebred Holstein cows sold at from 12gns to 305-gns, and averaged £l9 lis 6d; springing heifers £9 15s; heifers in calf, £3 16s (3d to £4 ss; weaner hoii'ers, Holstein, £3 175.6 d; weaner Holstein bulls, 25s to £3 17s 6d.
