CLEARING SALE. (By Telegraph—Special to the Age.) PALMERSTON N., Last Night. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., in conjunction with the New Zealand Loan-and'Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report -having held * very, successful clearing sale for Mr H. Moffatt, Kairanga. Notwithstanding tho very rough weather, there was a largo attendance of buyers, including several from a distance. The cows which were a nico conditioned lot, sold at from £5 15s to £l7, making the excellent average of £ll 15s. The ' purebred Holstein cows sold at from 12gns to 305-gns, and averaged £l9 lis 6d; springing heifers £9 15s; heifers in calf, £3 16s (3d to £4 ss; weaner hoii'ers, Holstein, £3 175.6 d; weaner Holstein bulls, 25s to £3 17s 6d.
