WOODVILLE RACES. SECOND DAY. (By Telegraph — Press Association.) The second day of the Woodville autumn meeting was held in delightful weather. The attendance was quite as good a.s on the first day, and speculation was brisk, the sum of £9356 being put through the machine, making £19,605 for the meeting. Results:— Kuemroa Hack Handicap, of 75 sovs., five furlongs. G'leirfern 2, Loapuki 3. Scratched— Makara and Happy New Year. Time, lmin. 2 2-osees. Hack Hurdles, of 85 sovs., one mile and a half.— Waiputere 1, Stevens 2, Merrie Lad 3. All started. Eiya, who was leading at the back of the course, stumbled over the hurdle and fell, and Sapience fell over him. W. Young, the rider of Eiya, had his collar-bone broken, but the other rider escaped injury. Time, 2inin 54 sees. Ballance Hack "Welter, of 75 .«ovs., seven furlongs.— Bonnie Boy 1, Moutoa 2, Fieid Fare 3. Fashion Plate was scratched. Time, lniin. 31 2-5 sees.
