The Legislative Council mot in the after noon, and adjourned for the presentation of the Address in Reply to .His Excellency the Governor.
On re-assembling, the Council im mediately adjourned.
HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. The House met at 2.!s.''. In laying a- return on the table, Sir Joseph Ward informed the House that the value ff Government .Buildings burned during the past ten years was £57,637. This was exclusive of. school building*. Had these buildings been insured, the premiums 'would have cost £90,000.
