The athletic events will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Athletic Association. 2. Nominations close with the Secretaries on Monday, March 18th, at 8 p.m. 3. Competitors in the .athletic events must send in a list of performances for the past two years. If no wins for two years, marks of starts from previous events must be stated. • 4. Acceptances and entrance feeS for other events close on the ground twenty minutes before each event. 5. No aiominationswill be accepted without the nomination fees. 6. Protests must be lodged with the secretary ten minutes after the race, accompanied by a fee of-2s 6d, which will be forfeited if the objections are considered frivolous. Horse events ss. ' ~ , . 7. The committee reserve the right to postpone the .sports if the weather is unfavourable. '' 8. No first prize will be given unless there are three starters; no second prize unless five Btarters. 9. Note.— All horses nominating (in: local events) must have tyeen in the district at least two months prior to the date of the sports.
