PERSONAL
The Stock Department was represented at the iMasterton Show yesterday by Mr Clavton, M.R.C.V.S., and Inspectors J. W. Deem, Halhgan, Ivens, and the local officers. Mr Robert Hay, of Christchurch, who judged the Shorthorn cattle at tlie Masterton show yesterday, had to leave by the afternoon train for his home, owing to sickness in his family.
His Excellency the Governor will arrive in Masterton by the mid-day tram to-day. He will-bo present at the.show in the afternoon, and ; will be.tlie.'giiest of Mr W. H. Beetham this evening, returning - to, Wellington to-morrov marning ■
