RIFLE SHOOTING
MAURICEVILLc RIFLE CLUB. A special competition, over 800 and 1000 yds, was completed on Saturday last. The conditions *were three shoots, all to'count. Rifleman H. Tildesley was the winner, and takes Mr C. Blewett's trophy of £1 Is. President Kummer was second, and wins Mr F. C. Fowler's trophy of Is 6d. The following are the aggregates, . and some of Saturday's •scores:— Saturday's Scores.— H. Tildesley. 84, F. W. H. Kuimmer 80, R. F. Wilton 79, R. O. F. Dagg 76, O. Blewett 71, G. Rutherford 70. The Aggregates were as follow: H, Tildesley, 68, 85, 84-337; F. W. H. Kummer 61,. 72, 80—213; R. Dagg 69. 67, 76—212; C. Blewett 62, 79, 71—212; R, F. Wilton 5-9, 72, 79 —2lO. The next competition will be fired on 9th March, at 500 and 600 yards.
