FISHERMEN'S "STRIKE"
POSITION MORE-ACUTE. DEMANDS REFUSED. ~ (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Last Nght. Matters connected wth the-fisher-men's strike have become more" acute. Yesterday the dealers met, and unanimously resolved to refuse the price demanded 'by the 300 men concerned...' : The fishermen are just as doteriminecl in the attitude they have taken up. On Saturday a conference will be.held to discuss the situation: The dealers want Mr Harle Giles, the Conciliation Board Commissioner, to act as mediator.
