SYNDICALISM."
"Syndicalism,''' by which is meant the. revolution of society by means of the, general strike, is 'being actively discussed' ill New Zealand just now. It is satisfactory to note that a not inconsiderable section of the Labour Party despises this ruffianly method of securing an advantage. A writer in the . Auckland Labour paper concludes V' very interesting article by saying:— "The whole gospel of Syndicalism is a gospel of violence and general madness; the idea of workers being able to resist the military s absurd. Syndicalism will lead the workers into the shambles, it will do anything except better their conditions or change the social system; that can only be done by political action through the ballot box." .
