NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued tJie (following rep'ort:— Cloudy and hazy weather is extending over the'.Dominion, and rain has fallen in the southernmost districts. : Tho barometer . has fallen steadily .in the South, and has had a falling tendency in the North, with freshening northerly winds generally. Present indications are for stormy weather about Cook Strait, and to the southward. High northerly" and westerly winds will probably prevail, with a falling barometer everywhere. Cloudy and unsettled weather, with rain, following generally. Heavy seas probable on the West Coast- after about thirty six hours, when the winds are likely to veer to the southward.
