PRESBYTERY OF WAIRARAPA

MEETING IN MASTERTON. 'The Wairarapa Presbytery met in Knox Hall, Master ton, at 12.30 p.m., for its ordinary bi-month-lyj meeting. The Rev. G. K. Minister for the new charge, After going into Committee to consider the petition, which was presented by the Rev." A. T. Thompson and Messrs G. Falla and P. L. Hollings, the Presbytery resolved to grarS the prayer of the petitioners, and to form the new charge, to be known as that of Lansdowne. The Rev. A. T. Thompson was appointed Moderator of the new charge. A Youth of the Church Committee of the Presbytery was formed, consisting of the Revs. 15. C. Tennent, MiTT, Stowell, and Messrs G. Falla and M. Ross. The question of erecting Pongaroa into a fully sanctioned charge was discussed, but the matter was referred to tlio Home Mission Committee of the Presbytery.
