TO-DAY'S WEATHER
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph—Press Association:/ K " WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rer. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following report:— Warm and humid conditions have prevailed over the North, and 78deg. Fall, are reported at Tauranga and Gisborne, but in the "South the weather is cold and dam(p, with a temperature of 46 degrees at The Nuggets. Moderate to strong northerly and westerly winds have prevailed in the North, and southerly winds in the Soli th. Present indications are for cloudy and colder weather, with rain generally, and rivers rising in many parts. Strong westerly winds are probable in the North, and southerly in the South. The barometer has a falling tendency, northward of Westport and Kaikoiira, but rising in the South, and everywhere after about sixteen hours.
