The fact that the Solway showgrounds, upon which the Masterton I A. and P. Association's annual show j is to be held on February 20th and I 2.k,t, has a railway siding and hold-' ing paddocks for the stock, will at I once appeal to exhibitors from the j distance. 'I he Masterton Show is now recognised as thk fat stock show { of New Zealand. It is also regarded \ as a model show, as far as general ; equipments are concerned. The i grounds themselves are worth travell- i ing many miles to see. '!" he pavil- j ions for sheep, the modern horse stalls, the spacious cattle pons, tho] new kennels for dogs, the up-to-date | show-ring, the magnificent grand- j stand, with the agricultural'hall, per-, manent stands, etc., go to make an ! agricultural show ground complete in ! every detail. Fresh green feed is. proj vided for all live stock exhibits. The i fa(4 that the Rani and Ewe Fair, i which is to be held on the two suc- | ceeding days of the show, pi-omisesv j to be the most important fair in the I Dominion, should be an additional inJ ducement to bi-ceders to enter their , stock. Late entries for the show will be received by the Secretary (Mr J. B. Kinmett) up till Saturday next, 10th inst. It may be mentioned that special arrangements are being made for the accommodation of the thousands of visitors who will be present I at the show.
