The Rev. R. i Young, vicar, officiated. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr j W. Farmer, of Mauriceville, and was -attended by Miss Lillian Challis, sisof the bridegroom, and Miss Zelia Lindop, niece of the bridegroom. TJio bride's dress was of white shantung trimmed with insertion, and she carried a pretty bouquet of summer chrysanthemums and maiden-hair fern. The bridesmaids' dresses were of white embroidery trimmed with insertion, and tfhey carried bouquets of sweet peas and maiden-hair fern. Mr Gordon Challis, of Masterton, was best man. After tihe ceremony a reception was held at Mrs Whyte's tea rooms, wihere the usual toasts were given to tihe happiness and prosperity of the happy pair. The presents include a beautiful marble clock from the railway staff, oa-rriers, aaixl the fellow workmem of the bridegroom. In the evenrag a dance was held at the Fire Brig&do hall.
