PROPOSAL TO INSTAL ELECTRIC LBCHT. At the meeting of the Wairarapa. • Hospital and Charitable A' 4 Board yesterday,; • a communication, was received from the Masterton Hospital. Cominittee, suggesting that "an electric light plant be provided, rfor•: the local Hospital. _;) ■; .Mr W. Fisher, as. representing the;Masterton School Committee, pointed out that, by an expenditure : of £7OO, ; a sum of aibout £125 per year would be saved ,in lighting, and £2£ per year in water. The electric/power could be utilised for working the XRays apparatus. The Board, after discussing the matter, decided to adopt the suggestion of the Committee, and to place a sunf of money on next year's estimates to provide the necessary power: ■
