ORDIHARY MEETIKC. The ordinary meeting of the Waintrapa. Hospital . Charitable Aid Board ■ was held in Masterton yesterday, there being present Messrs,,; E. G. Eton (chairman), J, C. Ewington, F. W. _H. Kummer, ! A, D: McLebd, H. Cornelius, S. Bolton, Cx. F. Bennett, B, B. Robertson, M. M'obre, R. G. Welch and W. Fisher. Apologies if of' absence were received from Messrs Cameron, Speedy, Jackson, and Beetliam. Tlie Treasure reported receipts for the period (including, subsidies on voluntary.' contributions, £59! /■&• 4d, ,and levi«?®- : fronts •* local ; authorities, £401; 18s '3'd) y r samounting to £1316 4s Id. The'eKpendiuire anrounted *to £215-5 4b sd, and there was a balanceat date of £iail' 19s 7d. ' ; ; 4 a The distribution of balances was as follows Maintenance accoiints, £854 10$ '-2 d; capital fund account, £262 4s sd; Marfcinborough abmula nee account, .-£l6B 5s 4d ;• Masterton St. John Ambulance account, £3 17s Id. ■ ... ' The Martinborougili Ambulance Committee, notified that the ambulance had arrived. The Inspector-General (Dr Ya*mtine) thanked the-Board for the resolution adopting his.-proposals in regard to the/nUrsing staffs, , and expressed pleasure at the prospect of a district nnrse being located at Martinborough.— The chairman stated that the question of location of the district nurses, had not yet been determined.. _ , ; The (TnspertorriGeneral wrote in reference to the representation of local, authorities on" the Hospital Board, and the supply of. drugs to such Boards. The Bahiatua Borough Counter writ a communication an regard to the salary of the Health Inspector.— The secretary reported that he had. communicated with the Borough Council on the subject; " The Auckland Hospital Board notified the admission of a . Master ton resident to the Auckland Hospital, The Wellington Hospital • Board forwarded accounts for the maintenance of various Wairarapa patients. Messrs Atkins and Bacon, architects, notified that they had given instructions for the gas to he laid «on .to the Buchanan Home at 'Greytown. This would be an extra. —.Received. A communication from Inspector Miller •in eference to a case of relief in Carterton was 1 referred back to the local authority. . It was deckled, on the motion of Mr Fisher ,that the Health Department be requested to provide a motor bicycle for Inspector Millet. The report of the meeting of the Finance Committee (already published) was read and adopted. Tlie reports from- the various Hospital Committees concerning .patients, maintenance, etc., were adopted., _ The Inspectors' reports were laid upon the table. , Accounts amounting to •)'- -h! were passed for payment.
