MASTERTON SHOW
v Great - interest is being manifested, in the Masterton Show {jliis, year, by reason of the fact that some of the finest stock in the Dominion will be exhibited. Tlie grounds are in the very pink of condition. Since the last Slrow, a large number of detail . improvements have been effected, and the Sohvay Pai-k is. now a model showground. Exhibitors are not slow to appreciate the arrangements made for the care of their stock, and Master ton now provides such splendid facilities that owners need have not the slightest apprehension concerning their exhibits. It may 'be mentioned that a sum of £IOOO is being offered in cash prizes; and this is spread over a large variety of classes. The jumping competitions will, as usual, be a feature of the gathering, and for these substantial prizes have been offered. It is expected that anything between 15,000 and 20,000 people will patronise "tlie charming Solway grounds this year, so that exhibitors will have tlie satisfaction of knowing that their stock is being brought under the observation of the right class of people, and plenty of them. Late entries will be received by the Secretary (Mr J. B. Emmotti up till Saturday next, 10th inst.
