TRAMS RESUME RUNNING! BUSHMEN VOLUNTEER FOR SERVICE. STRIKERS EVIDENTLY COWED. (Received Lust Night, 5.5 o'clock.) BRISBANE, February 5. The trams- started running at three different points at noon to-day. One hundred experienced tramwaymen and one hundred and fifty novices were empHoyed, all being armed. ~ . Large forces of armed men lined the route. ' The crowds cheered the cars. • Numbers of bushmen have reached the city, and are volunteering their services as* special constables. •Altogether the Police Commissioner has-a force of three thousand men to guard the city.
