PARASITES IN LAMBS.
With the object of testing dried tobacco leaves (steeped in brine) as a preventive lof internal parasites in Jambs, all th; : s season's crop of lambs at Ruak-nra Farm of Instruction have been fed daily on this, material. It Bias been found that when* once the lambs have become accustomed to the tobacco they eat it greedily, and apparently .thrive well on the treatment. Mr McConnell, the Manager, thinks there is something in the us>e oj the tobacco as a preventive of parasites, but dees not hold with the opinion that it is a cure.
