The.New Zealand Loan and Mercantile" Agency Co., Ltd., report on their usual weekly sale held yesterday:—We submitted a small yarding of. sheep and good entry of cattle. Both sheep and cattle declined in price oil: last week's sale. Quotations:—4tooth wethers, 13s; 2-tooth wethers, lis to 12s; ewes and lambs, all counted, 9s;'2-year steers, £4 Is; Ift-months steers, £3 7s 6d; store cows; £3 2s 6d to £3 10s; fat cows, £4 18s 6d to £5 10s.
