NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph—Trets Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the Warm, hazy, and 1 unsettled weather has pirevailed northwards of Kawliia and (Cfo&tlepoint, and showery conditions were also reported this morning on the East Coast of the South Island audi 'about 'Foveaux Strait, hut fair weather has prevailed elsewhere. Moderate to strong south-easterly winds have predominated, with an. unsteady barometer. Tlie conditions are still ithlreatening to the north-east-ward of the Dominion. Pireseait- indications are foT strong south-easterly wirid.s and unsettled weather northwards of Farewell Spit and Kaikoura, and variable winds, with fair' to cloudy weather, elsewhere. The barometer lias a rising tendency about Oook Strait.
