TRAMWAY STRIKE
WELLINGTON MEN GO OUT THREAT IN REGARD TO POWER HOUfcH. (By Telvgraph —Press Association J WELLINGTON, Last Night. The city tram»vaymen after a meeting lasting nearly throe hours, decided to strike immediately, and remain out- until Inspector Fuller is removed from the position of ticket checker. After tiie meeting, the motonnen returned the cars to the sheds and ceased work. It is stated that the power-liouse staff, which is required for the sur ply Of electric light to the city, and power for industrial purposes, will remain at work only on .condition, that the City Council does not attempt to run the cars.
