STRIKES.
Strikes are in the air. The newspapers are full of them. Industrial unrest is being experienced in aJinost every part - of the world. 3instead of ''•wars and runioua-s of nvar/' we now have "strikes and rumours of strikes." .Where the tiling .is going to end', it is impossible to say.>. If a big European war does not soon .divert the .activities of , the people/, civil •wars Hvill most assuredly eventuate. In New Zealand, where we flattered ourselves that the problem had been solved, we are just as susceptible to the strike fever as in other countries. Almost daily we are .recording strieks in one /form or another. .And the end is not yet.
