RULES AND CONDITIONS. 1. The athletic events will be run under the rules of the sew Zealand Athletic Association. ; 2. Nominations close with the Secr«ta<ries oni Monday, March. 18th, at 8 p.m. 3. Oomipetat&rs m the athletic events must send in a list of performances for the past two years. If no wins for.two years, marks of starts from previous eyenta must be stat"ed; ■„;„,;' p 4. Acceptances and en/trance fees for other events close on the ground twenty minutes before each event. 5. No nominations will be accepted without the nomination, fees. 6. Rrotests.;Etust be lodged with the minutes after; the nace, accomjpanied.hy' a fee <of 2s 6d, which forfeited if the objections axe considered frivolous. Horse, events •ss. 7. The committee reserve the right to postpone the sports if the weather is unfavourable. 8. No first prize will be given unless there are three starters; no second prize unless five starters. 9. Note.— AH horses nominating (in local events) must have been in the dlistrict at least two months prior to the dato of the sports. They must also be the property of bona fide residents of the district, otherwise they will be disqualified. 10.
