THE CHINESE REVOLT APPEAL TO JAPAN. Received This Morning, 12.15 o'clock. PEKING, January 30. A reign of terror exists at Mukden, Revolutionary suspects are being arrested nightly, and' executed. The last victims include the President of the Municipal Council and two respected memlbers of the Progressive (Society. The Chinese, terror stricken, are appealing to Japan for protection. The Jiapanese .Legation at Peking fears that action will become neces'sary. ■ The Japanese fleet has arrived at Port Arthur for winter manoeuvres. It is believed that the real object is to watch revolutionary cruisers and transports' at Chefoo. BANK ROBBERIES. (Received Last Night, 5 o'clock.) | PEKIN, Jamiary 30. ' Tliere were 32 bank outrages re- j ported in Mukden in five days.
