PREMIER TO RESIGN BEFORE PARLIAMENT MEETS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GORE, Last Night. A prominent Liberal member lias informed the Ensign that Sir Joseph Ward lias decided to resign on February 14th, and recommend Mr Massey to the Governor. At a later stage the Hoiu, Thomas McKenzie will move a motion of no-confidence against Mr Massey. The Hon. J. A. Millar resigns his seat and portfolios absolutely, and goes to Australia, and this has had no small influence on Sir Joseph's decision. 1 ' Commenting on' ii\e news, the Ensign, says there are so many nvmoiirs.afoot that it is hard to place trust in any, but it has iilie word of its informant that an arrangon;erLt«s stated has been conie to by the party.
