Hamilton on Saturday night. '. _ ; , Campion's appeal against-his disqualification by the Marlborough centre for alleged wrong performances was upheld. By this decision be the £IOO prize won in the race at the Blenheim- meeting. The Marlborough Centre >vas instructed to inquire into the p' l:formances of the other competitors, claiming the title to the second-prize. The question was discussed of en- [ quiry into the working of tlie North [ Canterbury Centre, but no action was taken.
