LABOUR CONFERENCE
FAR-REACSING RESOLUTIONS Received This Morning, 12.5 o'clock SYDNEY, January 28. The Labour Conference has adapted resolutions in favour of the in--trodweiioo of a Bili providing for a fcix-ihcurs day; fixing the pay of iinstoltfed labourers at ten shillings per .day; limiting the age of employment in tie public service to 65, -and making the nationalisation of the Health Department, the limitation of rent for the working classes, land the establishment of State fire and life Insurance Departments p a-nks in the platform. Itie Conference resolved in favour of re-tforiming, cheapening, and comsolidiating law proceedings. A resolution was adopted in favour of a minimum' iiving wage of 10s per day in all occupations, with equal pay for women for equal work.
