. PALMERSTON STOCK SALIC. (By Telegraph—Special to the Ago ) Messrs Abrahaan and Williams. Ltd., report:—We held our usual weekly Palmerston sale to-day, when we offered a good yarding of loth sheep and cattle. The attendance of buyers was large, owing to its being the first sale in tihe new yards. Bidding for sheep was spirited, and prices realised were equal to late rates. Cattle were dull of sale. ' Quotations•:-r-. Sheep: 2 and 4-tooth ewes, 11a; 4 -ind, G-tooth ewes, 13s lid; mixed owes, 7s Od, 10s 5d to lis 6d; fat and forward ewes, lis Gd; cull ewes, 3s fid.; lambs, shorn, 3s, 4s 7d, 4s lOd, 5s M, to 5s lOd; woolly lamfths,-8s to 9s 'l. Cattle: 2-year steers, £4 3s to £5 • '.-• 6d; yearling heifers, £2 19s jheifers in, millc, £4 7s 6d; heifers in calf, £4 to £4 7s; fat (heifers and cows, £4 7s to £4 18s; springing heifers, £6 4s, empty cows, £2 10s to £4 17s 6d to £5; cows in milk, £4 7s 6d; weanev*, 365; bu115,,395,. £2 2s, £2 ss, £2 10s. £2 lis to £3.
