The -athletic events wili be run under the rules of the New Zealand Afthletic Association^ 2. Nominations close with the Secretaries om Monday, March 18th, at 8 p.m. 3. Competitors hi the athletic events must send in a list of perform- j antes for the past two years. If no ■win's for two years, marks of starts from previous events must be stated. 4. Acceptances and entrance fees for other evewts close on the ground twenty minutes before each event. 5. No nominations will be accepted without the nomination fees. 6. Protests must be lodged with the secretary ten minutes after the race, accbmipaiiied by a fee of 2s 6d, which will be forfeited if the objections are considered frivolous. Horse events ss. . ■

7. The committee reserve the right to postpone the sports if the weather is unfavourable. 8.-No first prize will be given unless there are three starters; no second prize unless five starters. 9. Note.-H All horses nominating (ia local events) must hiave been in the distiriot at least two months prior to the data of the sports.
