TO-DAY'S WEATHER
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph —Fres* Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Hates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following summary and foreoast:— An improvement in the general conditions is reported to-day, but cloudy, weather and drizzling rain have .prevailed' in many parts. Moderate westerly winds have predominated, with a southerly tendency, in itilie South island. Present indications are for mild and changeable weather, showery in ■parts, with increasing westerly breezes, and the barometer rising slowly for a short time; but a low pressure area, now apparently only of small intensity, is due to pass in the South about Sundav.
