RULES AND CONDITIONS. 1. The athletic events will be run under tie rules of the New Zealand •AJtMet/ic Association. 2. Nominations close with the Secretaries oni Monday, March 18th, at 8 p.m. 3. Competitors im the athletic events must send in a list of performances for tie past two years., If no ■wins for two years, marks of start® from previous events must be stated. 4. Acceptances and entrance fees for other evenits close on the ground twenty minutes before each event; 5. No nominations will be accepted without the nomination fees. 6. Protests must be lodged with the secretary ten minutes after the race, accompanied by a fee <of 2s 6d, which iw.il! be forfeited if the objectionis are considered frivolous. Horse events ss. . 7. The committee reserve the right to postpone the .sports if the weather is unfavourable. 8. Njo first prize will be given unless there are three starters; no second prize unless five starters. 9. Note.— All horses nominating (in/ local > events) must have been in the district at least two months prior to the date of the spoorts. They must also be the property of bona fide residents of the district, otherwise they will be disqualified. 10. The committee reserve the right to alter the order in which the events will he run.
