Jackson presided over a good attendance. Be-fore-proceeding with the business the chairman took the opportunity to thank the members for having reelected him to the directorate. The question of the alteration of rules was discussed, -and it was pointed out that the cost of alterations, would he £5 5s for revising barristers' fees and "lOs for. registration. This meant ,;ihat no matter how-.'few rules were-"altered it would cost as much as ' a set of new rules, and it was.explained th-it the matter would be brought'b,e- , fore the Minister* with a vieSv'to hay- ' rg the charges reduced in cases such as the one under discussion.
