RULES AND CONDITIONS. 1. The athletic events will bo run tinder the rules of tlie New Zealand Athletic Association. , 2. Nominations close with the Soci«taa'ies. out Monday, March. 18th, at 8 p.m. 3. Competitors m tiie athletic events must send in a list of performances for the past two years. If no ■wins for two years, marks of starts from previous events most be stat4. Acceptances and entrance fees for other evcnits close oil the ground twenty minutes before each event. y 5. No nominations will be accepted without the nomination fees. 6. Protests must be lodged with the secretary ten minutes after-the race, accompanied by a fee of 2s 6d, which will be forfeited if the objections are considered frivolous. Horse events ss. 7. The committee reserve the right to postpone the sports if the weather is unfavourable. 8. Nio first prize will be given unless there are three starters; no second prize unless five starters. 9. Note.— All horses nominating (iiu local events) must luave been in the district at least two -months prior to the' date of. the sports. Th'ey must also be the property of bona fide residents of the district, otherwise they will be disqualified. . 10. The committee reserve the right to alter the order in which the events will he rim.
