THE WELLINGTON CHAMPIONSHIPS. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. With,- the exception of the Men's Championship Singles, the Combined Championship Doubles, and the Ladies' Handicap Doubles, which will probably be played on Saturday, the Wellington Provincial Lawn Tennis Association's thirteenth annual tournament concluded to-day. Miss E. Travers defeated Miss E. Williams in 'ifche final of the Ladies' Championship Singles by 9—7, 6—4. The Men's Handicap Singles were won by S. J. Sampson, who defeated L, S. Curtis by 60—47. , H. W. Brown and L.. Hawkins beat W. J. Robertson and C. Taylor in the final of the Men's Handicap Doubles by 70—63. Miss K. Mcintosh was defeated by Miss N. Curtis, in the final of the Ladies' Handicap Singles, by 52—50. The Combined Handicap Doubles went to Miss Brewster and Brown, 60, Mass Davis and Crewe being the losers, with 43. , , . . . . i
