All night there was fighting in the streets.. •■• vv "" A section of General Alfaro's troops defeated General Plaza, a supporterof the Quito Government. The losses on both sides were severe. The Hiliajntants are in a state of panic, feanng that General Andrade n'ho also supports, the Quito Government, will attack the city.
