EKETAHUNA FARMERS' UNION
SEVENTEENTH ANNUAL SHOW. (By 'Our Special Reporter.) The Eketahiuna Farmers' Union held their seventeenth annual show in the Domain yesterday. Beautiful weather prevailed, and tihere was a large attendance of the public, not(witastanding the various > counter attractions throughout the "Wairawpa. Tiie show, widen was clue-fly coufkied to horse events, was an uncjoubted success, and reflects the greatest credit upon Mr R. J. McLean, the Union's energetic secretary, and -the other om'ciais. Messrs W. Tilsoriand F. P. Evans acted as judges, and their decisions in the various events gave the greatest satisfaction. Beautiful trophies were awarded to the winners of the different events, in the decision of which the greatest enthusiasm was difcplayed by the spectators. Amongst those present were Mr G. R. Sykes, M.P., and Mr A. H. Herbert. ' The Eketahuna Brass Band was in attendance . during the afternoon. Ihe following are the results of the various competitions:—r
