RULES AND CONDITIONS. 1. The 'athletic events will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Athletic Association. 2. Nominations close with tho Sec-l-etaries om Monday, March 18th, a* 8 p.m. # ' : 3. Competitors hi the athletic events must send in a list of performj ances for .the past two years. If no wins for ;Jtwo years, marks of starts from previous events must be stated.. ; ■•• 4. Acceptances and entrance fees for other evenlts close on the ground twenty minutes before each event. 5. No nomination's will be accepted without the nomination fees. 6. Protests-must be lodged with the secretaa-y ten minutes after the race, i. accompanied'by a fee of 2s 6d, which, will be forfeited if the objections aore considered frivolous. Horse events ss. 7. The committee reserve the right to postpone the .sports if the weather is unfavourable. 8. iNio first prize will be given, unless there are three starters; nd second prize unless five starters. 9. (Note.— All horses nominating (ini local events) must have been in the district at least two months prior to the date of the sports. They must | ateo be the property of bona fide residents of the district, otherwise they •will be.disqualified. 10.
